This system is developed to be used for authenticity verification of ID cards, passports, travel documents, visa seals or stamps, entry permits, driving licenses, vehicle registration certificates and other vehicle related documents, banknotes, stamps, and all possible documents with security features. The system can be linked to databases through the internet.

Document Authenticity Verification Device MIdentity 15 is the latest in our Forensic technologies where state of the art machine vision techniques are combined into a unique system. The system allows all sorts of identity cards to be verified in relation with authenticity. The size of these cards can vary from a few mm to as big as 150 x 120 mm. The system uses special illumination with different sources: Ultraviolet, white and infrared. One unique camera with special sensor technology to detect all sorts of special markers, such as color of paper, fluorescence, hologram characteristics, ink, stamps and many more. The software is easy to use with a lot of sophistications. Optionally, a database can be linked and can be developed for any type of identity card. Our forensic specialists are involved in training the officers on all possible levels.

Unique Camera Technology with 6 MPiX Resolution

For this system we use a camera with special features, tuned for sensitivity towards UV, Visible and infrared. With a unique sensitivity spectrum this system is capable to detect all nuances.

The Image analysis system is powered by a powerful FPGA dual-core processor. All of the identification routines are developed by MicrOptik engineers.

The system can reveal nuances in the documents or banknotes by using the interplay of different illumination techniques on the images. Markers and holograms exhibit unique features when illuminated with white light (i.e. top, bottom or coaxial). ULtraviolet light of a certain frequency reveals characteristics of holograms, markers or prints. In addition various kinds of infrared light can be used to give an extra contrast on holograms, markers or prints.
